Χορήγηση διδακτορικών υποτροφιών στη Βραζιλία

The FAPESP Thematic Project (2016 / 02018-2) “Interannual variation of Amazon Basin greenhouse gases balance and their controls in a warming and increasingly variable climate - CARBAM - The Amazon Carbon Balance Long-term Study”, coordinated by Dr. Luciana V. Gatti offers 3 Post-doc positons at INPE (National Institute for Space Research), Sao Jose dos Campos, Brazil.

The opportunities are open to Brazilians and foreigners. The selected one will receive Fapesp's Post-Doctoral Fellowship in the amount of R$ 7,174.80 per month, in addition to an additional 15% Technical Reserve. In the initial concession, the duration of the grants may be up to 24 months. There may be renewal for another two periods of up to 12 months each, depend the results/approval of Fapesp, totaling a maximum of 48 months. 1- FAPESP Post-doctorate Fellowship in Atmospheric Chemistry / Greenhouse Gases in Amazon Basin

This post-doctoral fellow will develop his/her research activities in the LaGEE (Laboratory of Greenhouse Gases) at CCST (Earth System Science Center), INPE, under supervision of project principal investigator Dr. Luciana V. Gatti.

2- FAPESP Post-doctorate Fellowship in Modeling a decade of carbon gross emissions from forest fires in the Amazon

This post-doctoral fellow will develop his/her research activities in The Tropical Ecosystems and Environmental Sciences Laboratory (TREES) at the Remote Sensing Division (DSR), National Institute for Space Research (INPE) in “Modeling a decade of carbon gross emissions from forest fires in the Amazon: Conciliating the bottom-up and top-down views of the problem”.

3- FAPESP Post-doctorate Fellowship opportunity in Carbon Balance / Greenhouse Gases in Amazon Basin

This post-doctoral fellow will develop his/her research activities in the LaGEE (Laboratory of Greenhouse Gases) at CCST (Earth System Science Center), INPE, under supervision of project PIs Dr. Jean P. Ometto and Dr. Celso von Randow.
