The Historical Institute in the Philosophical Faculty of the University of Cologne seeks to appoint: two post-doctoral researchers For a period of three years starting on 1st October 2013. The positions will form part of an ERC-funded research project into the transnational history of “Left-wing Exile in Mexico, 1934-60” (ERC project-no. 312717).
Applicants will hold a doctoral degree, preferably in the period of the history of 20th-century Spain, 20th-century north-America (incl. Mexico), or in the contemporary history of exile.
Researchers will be expected to conduct independent research within the remit of the ERC project. Further particulars are available on request.
